Desenzano Infopoint
In the wonderful setting of the Porto Vecchio is the Desenzano Infopoint. In fact, the office is located right under the arcades of Palazzo Todeschini, adjacent to Piazza Malvezzi.
Desenzano is a town rich in history and culture, pleasant to visit in all seasons of the year. Strolling through the historic center, one can admire the city's cathedral dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene with striking canvases by Andrea Celesti and "The Last Supper" by Gian Battista Tiepolo inside. The splendid Roman villa with a precious polychrome mosaic pavement, the Ricetto Castle located in the upper part of Desenzano, often the site of Desenzano exhibitions and events, and the Archaeological Museum named after G. Rambotti, which preserves artifacts from the Bronze Age period, including an oak plow rediscovered in the Lavagnone wetlands and a well-preserved ancient wooden pirogue.
Not to be forgotten is the Risorgimento complex of San Martino della Battaglia withTorre, Museum and Ossuary important testimonies to the battle fought on June 24, 1859 between Austrian and Franco-Piedmontese troops.
Nature lovers can also explore the surrounding area with opportunities for bicycle and pedestrian paths, take advantage of the beaches to relax and enjoy sunny days.
