MAAAPO - Museo Arte Ambiente Arena Po

In the Oltrepò Pavese area, more precisely in Arena Po, art meets nature to create a path that is both naturalistic and cultural—a true Open-Air Museum: the MAAAPO.

MAAAPO, the Museum of Art and Environment in Arena Po, is a Municipal Museum specifically designed to establish a relationship between art and the environment. For this reason, the artworks are placed outdoors and can be freely enjoyed by visitors at any time of day or night, as they are also illuminated from dusk until dawn.

The core principle of the museum is to affirm the connection between culture and nature.
The museum was envisioned and founded by the artist Gaetano Grillo, who, in just a few years, has gathered numerous works by internationally renowned artists. These works have been loaned, donated, or even created on-site by the artists themselves.
