A summer morning on Lake Como

With reference to the fashion and uses of lake holidays, we offer you a morning on a boat among the historic villas of Lake Como, to discover curious docks, secret gardens and splendid homes visible only from the lake.
Just like gentlemen citizens of the past, we will embark in Como, we will pass in front of the Voltiano temple and then reach Cernobbio.
We will approach the majestic dock of Villa Erba, where we will not fail to tell you about the curiosities of its ancient owners, and then admire the splendor of Villa d’Este and Villa Pizzo.
Once in Moltrasio, we will show you a majestic villa Passalacqua and tell you about the vicissitudes and “inspirations” of the master Bellini, who loved these places on the lake so much.
We will then set sail for the castle of Carate Urio, in front of which the reenactments of naval battles were held (for fun), and we will go to the prestigious home of a famous Hollywood actor, also visible only from the lake.
And if in the outward journey we dedicate ourselves to the glamor and jet set of times gone by, on the way back we will tell you about the mysteries of the lake, kept in its dwellings: it will be possible to get closer to the mysterious Pliniana, where in the autumn we notice strange presences on the lake; we will see villa Roccabruna, villa Belvedere, the very strange residence of Prince Troubezkoy, to conclude with villa Medici Cornaggia and villa Geno.
