Santa Rita Church
An interesting visit to the Sante Margherita e Pelagia Church
The Sante Margherita e Pelagia Church, generally known as Santa Rita Church, is linked to the activity of the religious man and great humanist from Cremona, Marco Gerolamo Vida, who worked especially in the 16th Century.
The tour explains the extraordinary architectonic and decorative reform of this building carried out by Antonio and Giulio Campi who were invited to work here in the year 1547, on the basis of a decision made by Marco Gerolamo Vida.
If you want to participate you must:
1- call the number 338 8071208 and make a reservation. The group can include maximum 20 participants.
2- wear your mask and clean often your hands.
3- keep your safe distance.
Cost: 10€ (8€ CrArT members). It is possible to pay by credit or debit card.
The event is part of the program “Il ‘500 a Cremona” wanted by CrArT and implemented with the cooperation of Cremona’s Diocese.
