Rock on the lake

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Rocco Square at 9 p.m., the Municipality of Moltrasio organizes the concert "Rock on the lake" with the Hornytoorinchos and the Mama Bluegrass Band. Free admission.

The Hornytoorinchos, new paladins of Italian demential rock, were born in 2015 on the shores of Lake Como. Two years later they hit the historic Zelig stage in Milan where they reached the final of the FunCool Music Awards. Several unreleased songs produced by the band have been in rotation on Radio Deejay at the Ciao Belli program.
Over 150 concerts throughout northern Italy,with participation in major music festivals such as Big Bang Nerviano and opening concerts of big names in the Italian demential and independent rock scene (Gem Boy, Ruggero dei Timidi, Nanowar of Steel, Stefano "Sbarbo" Cavedoni, Vallanzaska, Rumba de Bodas, Nello Taver).

Coming from countless different experiences, the six members of the Mama Bluegrass Band find themselves almost by chance playing country and bluegrass music. The repertoire is inspired by the old classics of the American folk tradition; ranging also in some reinterpretations and rearrangements of more modern pieces. A mixture of Steve Earle, Pete Seeger, Johnny Cash, country, gospel and folk to recreate a corner of Tennessee!
Their three unreleased albums released on Rocketman Records are the perfect synthesis of the growth path that has seen the Milanese band, engaged since its debut also in an intense live activity, continue its musical evolution toward an increasingly personal and recognizable folk rock.
