Reading on the Po River
Entertainment in the territories along the Po River
The enhancement of the Po and Morbasco Park is connected to some cultural interesting proposals. This is the aim of the project “Reading on the Po River” which was born in cooperation with Cremona Municipality and all the other municipalities which are part of Cremona Libraries' Network (RBC). An entertainment proposal to involve all the municipalities which are located along the river Po.
The Festival, organized by the Environmental and Cultural Department of Cremona Municipality, together with the municipalities of the villages along the Po river, is focused on the river, analysed from a new and innovate cultural point of view. From the 24th to the 26th of October are taking place a series of events with the participation of actors and writers, experts and reading groups.
“Reading on the Po River” is the result of a strong and fruitful cooperation among the municipalities of the Po and Morbasco Park and all the other subjects on the territory. A cooperation which gave birth to a real governance able to enhance the local traditions. A new kind of active citizenship in the local context which experiments its knowledge on the Po river in a new and more innovative way. A knowledge which can be disseminated through the reading of works which are connected, in different ways, to the history of the river and to its traditions.
