Marina Rei in Concert at Varzi Festival

On Friday, September 4th, the Varzi Festival 2026 offers an evening of great music with Marina Rei in concert. The event takes place at the Auditorium of the Casa dei Servizi “Giovanni Azzaretti” in Varzi, at the heart of the five evenings that animate the festival from September 2 to 6. The evening opens at 9:00 PM with the opening act by Caterina Cropelli; at 9:30 PM Marina Rei takes the stage for one of the most anticipated concerts of the festival. Admission is free until seats are full.

Marina Rei, a Voice That Has Spanned Three Decades of Italian Music

Stage name of Rome-born singer and multi-instrumentalist Marina Restuccia, Marina Rei burst onto the scene in the mid-1990s with songs like “Sola” and “Noi,” before winning over the wider public with “Primavera,” the song that made her most popular. In 1996 she took part in the Sanremo Music Festival in the New Proposals category with “Al di là di questi anni,” winning the “Mia Martini” Critics' Award. Over a career spanning three decades, Marina Rei has stayed true to herself, avoiding easy commercial trends and moving naturally between pop and alternative rock, in a path enriched by collaborations with artists from different musical backgrounds.
