Festa della Pizza in Dorno

On Sunday 26 July, Dorno gears up for the 22nd edition of the Festa della Pizza (Pizza Festival), the summer event that has brought good food, live music and a festive atmosphere to Piazza Bonacossa for over twenty years. Organised by the Pro Loco Dorno in partnership with the I Girasoli pizzeria, the evening is designed to bring families, friends and food lovers together for one big communal celebration in the heart of the Lomellina area.

An Evening of Pizza and Community in Piazza Bonacossa

From 7:30 pm, the square turns into Dorno's open-air living room, with tables set for anyone wanting to enjoy pizzas prepared by the I Girasoli pizzeria. Since seating is limited, booking a table in advance is required, a measure that over the years has allowed the event to keep service quick and well organised even on the busiest evenings.

3 su Mille: A Tribute to Baglioni, Tozzi and Morandi

Once dinner is over, from 9:30 pm the festival continues with a concert by 3 su Mille, a tribute show celebrating the greatest hits of Claudio Baglioni, Umberto Tozzi and Gianni Morandi. On stage, singer Luca Virago, a finalist on The Voice Senior, lends his voice to songs that have shaped the history of Italian popular music, promising an evening that will have several generations singing along under the stars of Piazza Bonacossa.
