A week of cultural events at Palazzo Brambilla in Pavia
Once again this year, Fondazione Monte di Lombardia is taking part in the èCultura Festival, promoted by ABI and Acri. From 16 to 24 October 2026, the Foundation will open the doors of its headquarters, Palazzo Brambilla in Pavia, to the public and to students, offering a programme of educational and cultural activities.
THE BIBLIO CLUB
20–21 October | from 9:00 am

Two special mornings opening the Foundation’s library to students and the reading community, offering an opportunity to rediscover its spaces and share the pleasure of reading. The programme will include a breakfast and a creative activity on both days.
“You Study One Thing, You Become Another”
An aperitivo with Filippo Caccamo

A meeting for students with Filippo Caccamo, focusing on social issues and the challenges of contemporary life. The event at the Foundation will provide an opportunity for direct dialogue, encouraging young people to reflect and actively participate. The evening will end with an aperitivo.
COMIC BOOK WORKSHOP
For middle school students

A workshop for middle school students designed to encourage creativity and personal expression through the language of comic books, while providing an opportunity to reflect on current social issues. The first session, held during èCultura week, will launch a programme that will continue with new meetings and workshops over the following months.
GUIDED TOURS WITH ALESSANDRO BRAMBILLA

A guided tour exploring the history and interiors of Palazzo Brambilla, home to Fondazione Monte di Lombardia. Participants will be accompanied by an actor portraying Alessandro Brambilla, who will share stories, anecdotes and interesting facts about the building and its history. The tours will take place in three sessions during the morning.
FILM SERIES
For high school students
13 November | from 9:30 am
Cinema Teatro Politeama, Pavia
A film programme for high school students using cinema as a tool for discussion and reflection on bullying. On 13 November, Cinema Teatro Politeama will screen The Boy with Pink Trousers (Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa).
The event will feature Teresa Manes, mother of Andrea Spezzacatena, whose story inspired the film, and Manila Alfano, editor-in-chief of La Provincia Pavese. They will discuss the film and its themes with the students.
