Grease and Back to the Future Under the Stars. Two free evenings of outdoor cinema in Pavia
Looking for something different to do in Pavia in October? For two evenings, cinema moves outdoors with a special Drive-In experience in Pavia, combining classic movies, the atmosphere of 1950s America and the freedom of watching a film from the comfort of your own car.
A giant screen will light up the night sky at Piazzale Verzoni, creating an open-air cinema where friends and families can enjoy two much-loved movie classics. Bring your car, settle in, grab some popcorn and get ready for a nostalgic journey through cinema history.
The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Pavia, is free of charge, subject to the venue's limited capacity.

The programme features two iconic films, offering two very different journeys through time.
Saturday, 3 October 2026 – Grease
The first evening takes you back to 1978 with Grease, the legendary musical starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
Follow the story of Danny Zuko and Sandy as their summer romance continues when they unexpectedly meet again at school. With its unforgettable songs, dance scenes and 1950s-inspired atmosphere, Grease is a classic of musical cinema.
Saturday, 10 October 2026 – Back to the Future
One week later, it is time to travel through time with Back to the Future.
Join Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, and the eccentric Doc Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd, as they set off on an unforgettable adventure aboard the iconic DeLorean. The 1985 film remains one of the most popular science-fiction comedies of all time.

Capacity: Maximum 500 cars
Admission is available until all parking spaces are filled, so arriving early is recommended.
A refreshment area will also be available on site, with food and drinks available for purchase, including popcorn and soft drinks.
