Selected by EEEMerging Project and award-winner of the prestigious Händel competition in Göttingen, these young musicians share the aim of discovering unexplored repertoire and bringing it back to life. The ensemble’s name refers to the caladrius, a snow-white bird that – according to Plato and medieval bestiaries – was able to take the sickness into itself and fly away: the hope is that their music has the same healing effect on the audience.
