The Valchiavenna Gravel Escape, a bicycle touring event that renews its routes each year, offers perfect tracks for cyclists seeking adventure and challenge, traversing gravel paths, historic mule tracks, and lightly traveled back roads.
The routes are over multiple lengths and difficulties, depending on one's ability, all start and finish in Chiavenna, and touch on the most iconic places in this wonderful valley.
Trespassing into Switzerland is also planned, for those wishing to explore the Val Bregaglia, the route passes through chestnut forests and picturesque alpine villages, offering a unique mix of nature and culture.
The Valchiavenna Gravel Escape is suitable for both beginners and experienced cyclists, thanks to a wide variety of trails, from the most technical to the gentlest, but always surrounded by spectacular scenery.
