Annone di Brianza; have you heard the name before? In the 1960s, it hosted important figures in national and international music, from the iconic duo of Mogol-Battisti to Dik Dik, and who knows, perhaps they were a little inspired by Lake Annone.

 

This is not a classic elevated viewing point, but the banks offer a lovely panorama, which you can enjoy as you take a stroll around the lake. It takes about 20 minutes on foot from the centre of town, which is also a quiet, lovely place in which to spend a relaxing weekend with views. And who knows, you may even be inspired to start singing yourselves.
