Tener-a-mente | Festival del Vittoriale

The Festival takes place in the amphitheater of the Vittoriale degli Italiani: a place suspended between art, culture, nature and beauty, with a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Garda.

Since 1953, when it was inaugurated with a concert by the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, theVittoriale amphitheater has hosted a series of high-profile performances every summer, making it one of the reference stages over the years.

Since 2011, the summer festival has been the revamped Vittoriale tener-a-mente Festival, which has hosted the likes of Lou Reed, David Byrne, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Paolo Conte, Francesco De Gregori, Ludovico Einaudi, Momix, Eleonora Abbagnato, and the principal dancers of the New York City Ballet and the American Ballet.

Hailed by GQ Italia as one of the 5 most mature festivals in our country, along with historical festivals such as Umbria Jazz and the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, and by Studio Aperto as one of the two most prestigious festivals in the Bel Paese, along with the Lucca Summer Festival, for each edition Tener-a-mente collects more than 300 press clippings in national newspapers of wide circulation, television, radio, print and online.

International guests and artists for the2025 edition include, for example: Anastacia, Mika, Kamasi Washington, Marcus King, Bill Callahan, Brandi Carlile, Morrisey, Vinicio Capossela, Antonello Venditti, and others.
