Villago offers a guided tour of one of the most fascinating medieval houses in the Lecco area: the ancient Castle of Rossino above Calolziocorte.
This well-preserved structure, perched on the slopes of the Resegone and with a wonderful view of the Adda, holds millennial tales and surprising settings of Manzonian memory.
Here visitors, surrounded by an unusual medieval atmosphere, will be led to the discovery of the various “buildings” of the castle and curiosities related to the castle life of the fourteenth century: from the ancient defensive walls to the internal courtyards of promiscuous life, from the thirteenth-century tower of the lord to the watchtower transformed into an eclectic manor, passing through the rustic houses, the customs customs office and the ancient church of San Lorenzo.
For the occasion, it will be possible to admire the internal rooms of the structures, fully furnished by the current owners, and be involved in a storytelling on the private life of the feudal lords of the time and on the evolution of the castle over the centuries.
