STRADIVARImemorialday
The day dedicated by the Violin's Museum to the most important violin-maker
One of the most important contemporary violin-players, Isabelle Faust, is the protagonist, together with the piano player Alexander Melnikov, of this edition of the STRADIVARImemorialday, the day when the Violin's Museum celebrated the most important violin-maker of history, on the anniversary of his death. This year this is also the opportunity to celebrate another Myth of the Art, Ludwig van Beethoven, who was born 250 years ago. It is not possible to establish the correct day, but the parents celebrated the birthday of their son on the 16th of December.
Isabelle Faust plays the Stradivari “Bella Addormentata” - 1704.
Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi, 9 p.m.
