Stradivari Festival 2023
Piazza Marconi 5, Cremona
STRADIVARIfestival is the first and most important music event of the violin’s museum in Cremona.
It was born in 2013 to enhance the role and the “sound" of the Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi, the museum’s wonderful concert-hall which, thanks to the skills of the engineer Yasuhisa Toyota, can boast one of the best acoustic levels in the world, especially for the sound and the harmonies of the strings.
This Festival has always been considered one of the most important events at international level for its promotion of the violin’s sound: it is not a case that the most important violin-players generally participate to it. In the last years, the program, which is based on a classic repertoire, has offered some interesting cross-over performances.
A group of very famous artists has already confirmed its presence for the edition 2023: Midori, Daniel Lozakovich, Nurie Chung, Julian Rachlin, Gilles Apap, Giovanni Gnocchi. And then, the Agon Ensemble, partially made up of the European Union Youth Orchestra’s musicians.
