The Orangery of the Reggia of Monza hosts the "15 million K" exhibition by Paolo Maggis, edited by Valentina Casacchia. Twenty large pictorial works from among the most recent productions of the Milanese artist. 15 million Kelvin, from which the one-man exhibition takes its title, make the birth of a star possible, but that is also the temperature at the core of the star which is closest to man, the Sun.
Paraphrasing the physical datum of the battle from which a new star is born and of heat, the artist expresses his thoughts regarding the creative force of painting, revealing its power and modernity. Paolo Maggis, who has always been attracted by the gestures of the pictorial action, here focuses on a new direction of research, entirely aimed at the expressive force of the medium.
