Designed by Piermarini, the circular Rotunda was conceived as a scenic space to entertain and amaze guests, thanks to its retractable doors, fountains and revolving fireplaces. The vault frescoes, executed by painter Andrea Appiani, deal with the mythological theme of Cupid and Psyche.
