Once again this year, great international music takes center stage in Cremona's summer: the 15th Cremona Summer Festival, a summer event dedicated to music and violin making, will take place from June 24 to September 28, transforming Cremona and its territory into a worldwide reference point for students, teachers and enthusiasts.

All concerts are free admission subject to availability.

The 2025 edition will see the involvement of important international musical institutions: among the first events will be a concert by the University of London Graduate Consort performing on June 24 at 9 p.m. at Cremona Cathedral and on June 25 at 9 p.m. at Auditorium Manenti in Crema, followed by the presence of the Cerdd NPT Music Youth Choir and Orchestra at 9 p.m. on June 25 in Cortile Federico II.

In addition to the many entities from all over the world, a central role will also be given to Masterclasses this year ; from June 23 to July 10, the students of Emory University will be in Cremona (the first concert will be on July 3 at 6 pm:00 at the Teatro Filodrammatici), then it will be the turn of the Cremona International Music Academy, which will offer a busy schedule of masterclasses, concerts by students and teachers, and the prestigious string and piano competitions (of note is the long-awaited special event with the Cremona Quartet, scheduled for July 23 and 24) followed by the PIMF-Vanoli Music Festival (USA) and theOllie Music Festival (CHN).

This year's festival will include not-to-be-missed Traditional Chinese Opera events, several theater companies will perform throughout the summer between Cremona, Crema and Casalmaggiore, this is made possible through collaboration with International Culture Cooperation, the Center for Artistic Development of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the National Endowment for the Arts of China, and the Chinese Opera Research Society.

The program will extend through the end of September with must-see events such as theatrical performances of Traditional Chinese Opera, the Grand Lyrical Gala and the concert of theAkademische Philharmonie Heidelberg(Sept. 6 at 8:30 p.m. at the Auditorium Manenti in Crema)
