Opera Season 2024/25

A playbill of five fantastic titles ranging from the most popular repertoire to less usual proposals.

Puccini will be the composer who opens the Season with La Bohème, which will continue with Mozart's Così fan tutte, Giordano's Andrea Chénier, Verdi's Rigoletto, and close in January with the bel canto of Bellini and his Capuleti e Montecchi.

Passion, love, conflict and lots of great, great music from our most important and precious heritage.

We will once again celebrate Puccini's anniversary, continue the journey with Mozart's trilogy, listen to Umberto Giordano's marvellous score with the famous aria of La mamma morta, and let ourselves be enveloped by the pleasure of the Duke of Mantua and the suavity of the belcanto of the Swan of Catania and the Shakespearean love tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.

Opera returns, as per tradition, queen of our stage, to thrill us, move us, entertain us and make us reflect, with the great emotions of melodrama. We will welcome you, so that you can enjoy your Ponchielli Theatre in Cremona to the fullest.
