L'OPERA SI RIVELA
Musical and direction of productions curiosities concerning: “L’Orfeo, Ballo delle Ingrate/ Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda” which will be staged on June 18th, 19th, 24th and 25th, will be released on Sunday June 13th (11.00 a.m.), in the Ridotto hall of the theatre.
The conductors Antonio Greco and Francesco Corti, the producers Andrea Cigni and Simone Derai and the musicologist Angela Romagnoli.
Free entrance till seats availability.

An unusual Monteverdi, overnight, charming, in a place usually not open to the public.
The initiative, born thanks to the cooperation with the Association “Cremona Underground”, will lead us to the discovery of the palace Mina Bolzesi glacier and of some episodes from Claudio Monteverdi’s life by means of some “Letters” played by the actor and director Beppe Arena.

#SLAP
Thanks to the initiative “MonteverdiJam” promoted in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, will be arranged a free space for Performing Arts in the centre of Cremona where musicians, dancers, actors and performers will have the opportunity to exhibit.
The 2021 edition will be open to professional and not professional artists, experimenting and proposing all the performing arts so that Monteverdi Festival can be identified as open event, rich of several occasions, able to animate the town with different cultural exhibitions.
This initiative will be from June 18th till June 27th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

L'ORFEO DISEGNATO
Several projects and collaborations at the Monteverdi Festival, from June 4th to June 26th, it will be possible to visit the exhibition “L’ORFEO DESIGNATO – DIETRO LE QUINTE DELLA BIOGRAFIA AVVENTUROSA DI CLAUDIO MONTEVERDI”. This exhibition is the result of the deep cooperation between Ponchielli Theatre and the “Centro Fumetto Andrea Pazienza” in Cremona, and it will open on Friday June 4th at 18.30, in the pre-foyer of Ponchielli Theatre. It will be a new way to get closer to Monteverdi’s life.

DISCOVERING THE TOWN OF  MONTEVERDI
 For foreign groups bigger than 12 units, it is possible to book by means of private agreements at CrArT a tour of Cremona or a tour dedicated to Montevedi in their own language, 48 hours in advance of the requested date.
