On Sunday, 7 September from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. the "La Belle Époque" concert will be held in the Sala d'Oro of Palazzo Manzi in Dongo. The concert of flute, cello and piano is one of many concerts of the Arte Solidale Festival. 

Flautist Alenka Bogataj returns to ASF for a concert shared with cellist Anna Litvinenko and pianists Juan Pablo Hinojosa and Danilo Mascetti, all dedicated to the Belle Époque. The very elegant Golden Hall of Dongo will see the performance of some gems from the repertoire, Philippe Gaubert's Second Watercolor, Émile Bourgeois' Trio and the Lento, Tristamente of Rita Strohl's Cello Sonata. The works will be the setting for Cesar Franck's Sonata, a great masterpiece of the late nineteenth century, performed in its flute version. The young pianist Giulio Canino, a student of the Don Carlo Basci Academy in Menaggio, will open the concert by performing Beethoven's Variations in G Major.

The Arte Solidale Festival, founded in 2015, is entirely curated by young artists and is based on the belief that culture and solidarity can grow together. Every September, the villas and historic residences of the lake open their doors to the public to host refined programmes, performed on period instruments and 19th-century pianos according to a historically conscious interpretation, from Viennese Classicism to late Romanticism.

• 4 September, at 8:45 p.m.: "Franz Liszt e la Poesia" at Villa Imbonati in San Fermo della Battaglia;
• 6 September, at 6:30 p.m.: "Aperitivo a tre pianoforti - Concerto d'apertura" at the former kindergarten "Maria" in Griante:
• 9 September, at 11:00 p.m.: "Matinée musicale - Poesia e musica al Balbianello" at Villa del Balbianello in Tremezzina;
• 10 September, at 6:30 p.m.: "L'alba dei Virtuosi - L'Inizio del XIX Secolo", at Villa Carlotta in Tremezzina;
• 13 September, at 5:00 p.m.: "L'Eredità di Chopin - il secondo Ottocento"", at the Hotel San Giorgio in Tremezzina;
• 14 September, at 6:30: "Concerto di Gala - Il grande Romanticismo" at Villa Gallia in Como.
