On Sunday and Thursday 28 August, Gravedona ed Uniti will host the event ‘Concerts on the Water at Palazzo Gallio': two concerts on a floating stage, with aperitifs in the garden and a guided tour of the palace and the restored chapel.

Fine music combining jazz and wind instruments, culture and landscape. The title of the first festival in Upper Lake Como is ‘Concerts on the Water at Palazzo Gallio’. The spectators will be able to attend the two concerts from the terraces of the garden or lying on the Mazzagallo Beach at the foot of the imposing palace. The event will take place at sunset to better admire the splendid setting in which the musicians will perform.

Music programme: 

• Sunday, 24 August, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Jazz from the 1940s to today - A unique and magical journey through the jazz, masterfully conducted by the quintet of Bruno Bischi (tenor saxophone) with Francesco Manzoni (flugelhorn), Simone Daclon (piano), Roberto Piccolo (double bass), and Massimo Caracca (drums); 
• Thursday, 28 August, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: The Wind Orchestra – Ten musicians present a musical journey through different eras with original compositions ranging from Baroque and Renaissance styles with a modern twist to jazz, blues, funk and pop. The orchestra is composed of Renzo Frate (alto saxophone, clarinet, ocarina), Fausto Corneo (clarinet, alto saxophone), Tiziano Turcato (baritone saxophone, tenor saxophone), Michele Pontiggia (trumpet, flugelhorn), Arno Barlascini (trumpet), Luca Romano (trombone), Paolo Selva (tenor/alto saxophone), Paolo Fontana (euphonium), and Gheorghe Oghina (tenor saxophone).

• Sunday, 24 August, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Guided tour in Italian and English of the palace and the restored chapel - An expert will lead participants on a discovery of the treasures of Palazzo Gallio and reveal the restoration work carried out on the chapel on the main floor - Reservations required by the day before, subject to availability - Sold out;

• Thursday, 28 August, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Guided tour in Italian and English of the palace and the restored chapel - An expert will lead participants on a discovery of the treasures of Palazzo Gallio and reveal the restoration work carried out on the chapel on the main floor - Reservations required by the day before, subject to availability - Online reservation (click here) or by phone at +39 0344 85005. 

On both dates, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., a bar service (paid service) will be available in the garden, where you can enjoy an aperitif.
