Inverigo - Il paese delle ville

Villago proposes a walk along the historic avenues of Inverigo, to discover the famous “town of villas of delight”.
It will be an itinerary among surprising historic houses, ancient places of worship and wonderful views of Brianza.
Participants will be involved in a real journey through history: from the visit of the sixteenth-century sanctuary of Santa Maria della Noce, to the seventeenth-century village around the contemporary villa Crivelli; from the ancient “avenues of cypresses”, to the eighteenth-century “stairway of the Giant”, up to the nineteenth-century Villa Cagnola “La Rotonda”.
Along the itinerary it will be possible to discover the daily life of nobles on holiday, the history of the area and its historic homes.

The route is structured on several levels, between climbs and descents and will wind for about 4 km., Comfortable shoes are recommended.
