For the second year Monza hosts the Bookcity Review: the city fills with appointments to tell about books and experience them together.
The theme of this edition is the power of ideas / the ideas of power.
47 free initiatives dedicated to the world of books: libraries, bookstores and associations collaborate to offer free appointments open to all, to promote inclusive access to culture.
The aim is to promote events that can stimulate debate and reflection on the chosen theme, "The power of ideas/the ideas of power," thinking of books and reading as tools for personal and collective growth and development.
The aim is to involve a wide and varied audience, considering readers as the protagonists of the city's identity and its transformations in history, past present and future. The thematic focus of this edition is deeply related to contemporary phenomena, where the relationship between ideas and power moves between rapidly changing balances.
