Alla scoperta del Monte Barro, tra antiche tradizioni, panorami ed archeologia
This walk will allow us to discover some of the most interesting places in Mount Barro Park, starting from the ancient rural village of Camporeso, passing through the Mount Barro hermitage, where we will have lunch. Then we will descend to Piani di Barra to see the remains of an important military settlement founded by the Romans and then conquered by the Goths. We will finally conclude the loop with panoramic balconies over the Corni di Canzo and the Grigne. Height difference: 400 m. Difficulty: 3. Length: 6 km.
