Monza celebrates the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation
Following is the program of events in preparation for the Anniversary of the Liberation:
Saturday, April 12 - 5:30 p.m., Binario 7 Theater (Carver Hall)
Resurgent Values in the Resistance

Introduced and coordinated by Leonardo Canesi, President of the Mazziniana Association of Monza.
Interventions:
Ideals and heroes of the Risorgimento inspired the Partisans - Gianna Parri, President Emerita of the Associazione Mazziniana di Monza.
La resistenza in Brianza - Pietro Arienti, historian, author of several books on the Resistance in Brianza.
Acurated by the Associazione Mazziniana of Monza.
Free admission.

The Battle of Megolo: stories of courage and freedom

Institutional Ceremony
9 a.m. - Celebration of S. Mass at the Urban Cemetery Chapel
Crown laying at the field of the Fallen of the Resistance, at the ANEI (National Association of Former internees) stele, at the field of the Fallen of all Wars
10 a.m.30 - Meeting in Piazza Citterio for procession formation
At 11 a.m.- Flag raising and official Ceremony in Piazza Trento e Trieste in the presence of city Authorities
Fighting and Arms Associations with their banners will be present.
Students from Monza's Leonardo da Vinci Secondary School and Cederna's Sarabanda Musical Group will be in attendance.
To share in the celebrations of the anniversary, the Municipal Administration invites citizens to display the tricolor flag in their windows.
