BERGAMO
Festival del Casoncello – 21st August to 4th September – Bergamo
The Festival del Casoncello is a celebration of Bergamo’s most famous filled pasta. For two weeks, every evening from 7:00 p.m., Spazio Giovani Edoné hosts gastronomic events in the green setting of the Redona district, where diners are taken on a journey through traditional flavours. Casoncelli, polenta, braised meat and plenty of delightful specialities await you to say farewell to summer with family and friends, plenty of good food, music, entertainment, and performances.

Landscape Festival – 5th to 21st September – Bergamo
Landscape Festival is back, the event dedicated to the culture of landscaping. The programme includes art installations, talks with internationally famous landscape architects, and themed routes that transform Bergamo into a workshop of vanguard ideas. The event brings the city’s public and private spaces to life, raising public awareness of the importance of urban landscapes.

Bergamo Grape and Agriculture Festival – 5th to 7th September – Trescore Balneario
One of the most popular traditions in the province, the Bergamo Grape Festival (Festa dell’Uva di Trescore Balneario) celebrates the grape harvest with traditional popular events dedicated to agriculture and farming. Allegorical carts, food stands, concerts and popular performances all add to the fun of this weekend event. An occasion that showcases farming traditions while making the most of the local area.

Millegradini – 20th and 21st September – Upper and Lower Town, Bergamo
Millegradini is a cultural and sporting event, a walk to show you the hidden corners of Bergamo, from the centre to the Upper Town. Participants will follow themed routes on foot, crossing through museums, courtyards and monuments that are usually closed to the public. An event for people of all ages and an original, active way to experience Bergamo.

FIT • EVERY SIZE MATTERS – 19th July to 9th November – Sirmione
Sirmione pays tribute to photography with FIT• Every Size Matters, an exhibition that brings together images from the 15th Sirmione Photography Award. Como Book Fair – 23 August to 7 September – Como

Palio del Baradello 2025 – 29th August to 7th September – Como
An excellent historical re-enactment in Como, the Palio del Baradello celebrates the mediaeval event of the arrival of Frederick Barbarossa and the freeing of the city from Milanese rule. Since 1981, the whole city is involved in competitions, historic processions and performances, bringing the atmosphere of the 12th century back to life, in a challenge between the different districts.

Campione d'Italia Circuit – 4th to 7th September – Campione d'Italia
Campione d’Italia is hosting the first historical re-enactment of the Campione Circuit, bringing back the fascination of traditional car racing over a public circuit, just over one kilometre long, between the lake, Casino and the Palazzo Comunale. More than 100 historic cars, karts and boats will be in the town for an event that brings sport, style and culture together.

Terrafiume | Le vie dell'Oglio, history with flavour – 10th June to 16th November – Piadena Drizzona
A project that is a combination of history, nature and cuisine, along the River Oglio. Itineraries, food and wine events, workshops and cultural walks involving the whole Cremona area, with an extensive narrative that makes the most of the villages, river parks and local traditions. Palio di Isola Dovarese – 12th to 14th September – Isola Dovarese
One of most charming historical re-enactments in Lombardy, the Palio di Isola Dovarese returns this Cremonese village to Renaissance times, with period costumes, duels, flag wavers, mediaeval games and traditional food. Sagra del Salame dell'Oca and Palio di Mortara – 27th and 28th September – Mortara
Two days that bring together folklore and flavour in the setting of Mortara. The Palio re-enacts the Renaissance with processions, competing contradas, and the charming living Game of the Goose, while the Sagra del Salame d’Oca celebrates the typical local product, goose salami, in a range of varieties, from raw to cooked and paté. ViVa - Vini Valtellina – 6th to 8th September – Sondrio and province

La Röda Tellina – 13th and 14th September - Berbenno di Valtellina
A popular celebration of Valtellina's traditional cycling culture: vintage bikes (pre-1987) are ridden along two routes (approx. 30 km and 70 km) over dirt tracks and asphalt roads on the slopes of the Orobic and Rhaetian Alps, starting and ending in the centre of Berbenno di Valtellina.
