Sports activities and relaxation in Bormio and Santa Caterina—skiing, excursions and hot springs

Experience snow in every shade imaginable, take in the breathtaking beauty of the scenery and make use of a variety of offers that will fascinate even the most demanding of holiday-makers.

We are located in Alta Valtellina, where from 3 December 2022 onwards you can use the ski resorts in Bormio and Santa Caterina Valfurva, two of the most loved winter destinations by those who consider snowy mountains the best way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
A dazzling shade of white characterises Bormio, a well-known tourist resort situated 1,225 metres above sea level and located approx. three hours by car from Milan and the next venue of the Winter Olympics in 2026. Apart from the ski area in which you will find a great number of tracks perfect to practice Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding, you will also find all sorts of fun activities for everyone. Nine natural hot springs make Bormio the biggest thermal town in the Alps, a famous spot for wellness and pleasure. You can also visit Centro Sleddog Husky Village, where you can experience exciting tours in the woods in sleds pulled by Huskies.
You will find that activities set in the splendid location of Santa Caterina Valfurva, nestled between the national park Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio and surrounded by the mountains Ortles – Cevedale, will restore both mind and body.  Here you will find skiing tracks of 35 km—among them, one named after Deborah Compagnoni from where you can ski down even in the dark! You can also go Fat Biking, or try walking by foot on many of the snow-decked and signalled paths for an invigorating experience either by foot or with snow-rackets on.
Let's take a look at the best ways of practising sport and to relax in Bormio and Santa Caterina.
