Path of the sun and path of the moon

The walk starts in the car park on the left at the entrance to the city. Still to the left, it is a few hundred metres along the paved road, Via Castello, which you follow to the end.

Immersed in the greenery of a dirt road, the path leads to to the belvedere at Motti dei Ronchetti, from which there is a magnificent view on the Lake Maggiore.

The walk leads to another panoramic viewpoint at the beginning of the road to Bedorè (1 hour). This marks the end of the path of the Sun, so called because it runs on the sunny side of the mountain. It then begins, on the northern slope, the path of the Moon. The path is always accesible and takes us directly to the town centre (1 hour, 2 hours).
