Moltrasio's summer comes alive with a lakeside musical event organized by the  Municipality of Moltrasio. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 9 p.m. in San Rocco Square, the trio of renowned guitarist Gigi Cifarelli will perform. Free admission.

From the mid-1980s until almost all of the 1990s with the release of the first two CDs of his production, his guitar appears at the top in most musical spaces, both in the jazz and funky as well as pop spheres, collaborating on several CDs by Mina, Renato Zero, Tullio De Piscopo, Dirotta su Cuba and many other top singers in the Italian pop music scene.
He became a darling and a role model for many young Italian guitarists; in fact, the readers of specialized magazines elected him "best jazz and fusion guitarist" for five consecutive years, something that was not repeated in the following years because his name was placed in a virtual Olympus, to which the musicians voted out of the rankings for five consecutive years had access in order to vote and give luster to other emerging talents.
In 1995, he was invited to France by Marcel Dadi to the Festival "Les nuits de la guitare" and entered an international dimension by taking the same stage as John Scofield, Philipe Caterine, Toots Thielemans, Mike Stern, and Bireli Lagrene, arousing esteem and admiration everywhere, not only for his great musical energy but also for his great verve and friendliness. This, in the years to follow, makes him chosen to be even the Godfather of the Festival of Sete sur Mere, in the South of France, where, on that occasion, he performs with Bireli Lagrene and with Silvan Luc and where he will then return two more times meeting Pat Metheney and other big names.
He also participates in that period in the Marseille and Toulouse festivals sharing the evening and the stage with Scott Henderson.
Many other collaborations and projects are in place with important Italian and international artists.
