A magical evening from the mountains to the lake, in a unique atmosphere, with the Torchlight Procession in Moltrasio! The light trail will start from the upper hamlets, arrive in the centre of the village and descend to the lake, where it will continue on the water on boats. It will not miss the arrival of Santa Claus and the holiday wishes in Piazza San Rocco with hot chocolate and mulled wine.
6:00 p.m. - torchlight departure from Colombo Street/ Bianchi Street intersection.
6:15 p.m. - arrival in St. Martin's Square and descent from the "Holy Staircase"
6:30 p.m. - handing over the torches to the boats and torchlight procession on the lake with kayaks and sailboats
6:45 p.m. - in Piazza San Rocco: arrival of Santa Claus* from the lake for the children, unveiling of the Moltrasio Rowing Club's Advent Window, followed by hot chocolate and mulled wine for all.
*Parents who would like to have a gift delivered by Santa Claus to their children can bring the package - with name and surname written on it - to the Moltrasio Town Hall, 67 Besana Street, during opening days (Monday to Saturday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.) by Saturday, Dec. 16.
