The ReGiS: Network of Historic Gardens.
The Network of Historic Gardens (ReGiS) is a nonprofit association, which was formed in December 2008 to assist local governments, or territorial bodies, in finding the most suitable solutions to the problems of enhancement, use and management of the historic gardens and parks they own.
ReGiS' historic parks and gardens represent a unique and valuable heritage. As places rich in history and culture, they should be properly known and experienced as an integral part of our local historical heritage and landscape.
All ReGiS gardens are open to the public free of charge. In their conformation, they present a variety of compositional plants dating back to past centuries and see the presence of centuries-old plants, even monumental ones; as well as architectural and ornamental elements of valuable historical and artistic value.
With their valuable plant and artistic heritage, historic gardens can be considered to all intents and purposes "places of outdoor culture" and opportunities for loisir, where one can stroll, play sports and participate in cultural and educational initiatives for psychophysical well-being, always in contact with nature and history.
ReGiS in order to enhance and tell, in a concise and entertaining form, the historical heritage represented by the historic gardens of its member sites, wanted to reinterpret the traditional Game of the Goose, creating an ideal path, but above all a tale between the peculiarities and the real historical heritage represented by the historic gardens. Behind its simplicity lies a game of ancient origin that comes down to us with fixed rules and special squares that can be faced, and overcome, without having special skills, but only luck... will it be true? You just have to find out and start the Game of Discovery in the Historic Gardens of ReGiS!!!
