Until September 19, 2021, you can purchase a special ticket on the Trenord website or app that will allow you to make a round trip from any station in Lombardy to Sondrio and rent an e-bike front at the Sondrio and Valmalenco Tourist Consortium office.

  • Latteria di Chiuro: a company founded in 1957, it is now a consortium of more than 20 dairy members active in the area between Sondrio and Tirano.
  • Casa Vinicola Nera: one of the most important and prestigious wineries in Valtellina, with a long tradition in the enhancement and promotion of the territory, cultivation of vineyards and production of high quality wines.

SONDRIO - PARK ADDA MALLERO BARTESAGHI
A route for everyone, perfect for families looking for some relaxation in the green with departure and arrival in the central Garibaldi Square. The itinerary is flat, about 11 km long, and runs mostly on paved road closed to traffic. Bartesaghi Park is located south of Sondrio, at the confluence of the Mallero stream with the Adda River. It is a green oasis that covers an area of about 20 hectares and is equipped with various bicycle and pedestrian paths, refreshment areas and playgrounds.
SONDRIO - BOSCO DEI BORDIGHI
The 13-km-long loop route at the foot of the Orobic slope has an almost completely paved surface and a modest elevation gain, but it offers splendid panoramic views and touches on the Bosco dei Bordighi, one of the seven nature reserves in the province of Sondrio. Bosco dei Bordighi is a 47-hectare nature reserve along the Adda River and is one of the very few remaining patches of riparian forest, rich in wildlife and tree diversity.
VALTELLINA TRAIL
The Sentiero Valtellina (Valtellina Trail) is a bicycle and pedestrian route that runs along the Adda River between Colico and Bormio, for a total distance of 114 km. Along the "trail," it is possible to take advantage of the many equipped rest areas or, nearby, the refreshment points of farmhouses. The section through the Sondrio area (from Forcola to Castello dell'Acqua), about 30km long, is flat, except at Castello dell'Acqua where there is a short steep climb. There are many characteristic places in the vicinity of the capital that the route passes through, including Bartesaghi Park and the Bordighi Nature Oasis.
RUSCA PATH
The Rusca Trail is a historical itinerary that partly retraces the Strada Cavallera, the ancient trade route that linked Valtellina and Switzerland through the Muretto Pass (2,562 m) since the time of the Roman Empire. The section between Sondrio and Chiesa in Valmalenco is mostly paved and passable by mountain bike. Along the 13-km route it has an elevation gain of about 700m and is full of rest areas with information panels and children's play areas. The views of great beauty offered by the surrounding nature and landscapes, as well as the many places of historical interest in the vicinity, make it an itinerary that can be enjoyed by lovers of two wheels, history and nature.
