Palazzo Galeano
The majestic palace, which was renovated around the 17th century, retains Renaissance structures; it originally belonged to the Bertoglio family. It was sold to a wealthy wine merchant (Pietro Antonio Beccante of Casalmaggiore) in 1752 and then passed into the hands of 'Casa Navarra' twelve years later. The Baroque façade is decorated with cornices and masks, the entrance portal is surmounted by a wrought-iron balcony, and the entrance and interiors are decorated with magnificent stucco work.
