LODI

DISCOVER LODI

A program to explore the city of Lodi and its surroundings: a region that surprises with its rich food and wine tradition, its natural beauty, and its precious anti-consumptive and cultural heritage.

It begins with the thirteenth edition of the "Le Forme del Gusto" market fair, in the evocative setting of Piazza della Vittoria in Lodi. From September 26th to 28th, dozens of stands will be dedicated to the direct sale of agri-food products from the Lodi area and Lombardy, with a dedicated space for a calendar of events: debates, events, tours, and cooking demonstrations.

As in recent years, the Festival of Agri-food Excellence will also be the occasion to present two other events taking place in the following weeks, which have become a solid tourist, cultural, and entrepreneurial asset for the area: the Festival of Ethical Photography, which introduces the general public to ethically relevant content through the eyes of the world's best photographers, and the Lodi Gastronomic Festival, a journey through Lodi cuisine through themed menus presented by restaurants, osterias, and trattorias, from October 4th to December 8th.

The thirty-eighth edition of the Palio di Lodi will be held on October 5th, a festival in Piazza della Vittoria that will become the setting for the characteristic wooden horse race, recognized as an Italian Heritage site for its tradition. The city's districts enliven the square with fascinating challenges of skill and speed.

On November 18th and 19th, the Codogno Fair will be held. Since 1791, it has been one of the most prestigious events for all industry professionals: over 200 exhibitors, national competitions, meetings, events, and demonstrations at the heart of Lombardy's agricultural and livestock tradition.

Finally, from November 22nd to November 30th, the fourth edition of the "Orfeo WEEK" will be held, an innovative and cross-disciplinary festival combining concerts, workshops, performances, and talks open to all ages, exploring great culture through music.
