A journey into the Middle Ages at the Fortress of Lonato del Garda

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the event returns to Lonato del Garda “A Leap into the Past. Siege of the Fortress”, the awaited medieval event now in its 3rd edition.

For an entire day, the Fortress will transform into a real medieval village, offering an immersive experience with shows, battles, and period life.

Thanks to the participation of historical reenactors and specialized groups, both young and old can closely experience the atmospheres, sounds, and colors of the Middle Ages.

During the day, you can watch and participate in:

• armored combat and scenic battles
• historical camps and demonstrations of medieval life
• educational activities and demonstrations of ancient crafts
• equestrian tournament with armored knights
• siege of the Fortress with realistic reconstruction
• final scene of the Holy Inquisition and witch burning

An engaging event that combines show, history, and entertainment.

Schedule for the day:

• 10:00 AM – Event opening, historical camps, and educational activities
• 11:00 AM – Declaration of war and start of battle
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Lunch break and free visit
• 2:15 PM – Resumption of activities and demonstrations
• 4:00 PM – Equestrian tournament
• 5:00 PM – Siege of the Fortress
• 5:45 PM – Holy Inquisition and witch burning

Food area, from 12:00 PM there will be a refreshment area with various offerings:

• skewers with polenta and fries (by reservation – €20)
