A full day in Clusone
On Saturday, August 2, tour guide Laura Benzoni, is organizing a day exploring Clusone, including a guided tour, typical lunch and nature walk.
This experience will take us to discover the wonders of Clusone, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We will start from the Fanzago Astronomical Clock, continue to the evocative 15th-century frescoes of the Dance Macabre and the Triumph of Death, and then visit the Oratory of the Disciplines, with scenes from the "Poor Man's Bible."
In the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta we will be fascinated by the sumptuous Baroque decorations, before indulging in a mouth-watering break at the Trussardi pastry shop to savor the typical Biscotto di Clusone. Once our visit to the town is over, we will set off into the woods for a short walk around Clusone to reach the Fontanino della Mamma. We will then drive up to Rifugio San Lucio, where a typical lunch awaits us, and end the day with a pleasant walk to Roccolo Zuccone.
The meeting point is Via San Marco 31/A Clusone. Meet with the guide in front of Bar Del Sole at 9:15 am.
