DESPITE THE LONG TIME THAT HAS PASSED
Exhibition: Nazi-Fascist Massacres in the War of Liberation 1943-1945
The exhibition, free admission, aims to illustrate and make known, in a simple and direct way, through photographs, documents and video footage, one of the most complex and painful events of our national history: a page that is as important as it is little known, in its dimensions and implications, that of the Nazi-Fascist crimes committed in Italy and abroad on the civilian population (defenseless civilians uninvolved in military operations, or inoffensive patriots captured by the Germans) and on Italian military personnel (prisoners of war or variously engaged in patriotic resistance to the invader), in the run-up to and after the armistice of September 8, 1943.
The focus is also on the judicial profile, equally complex and rich in little-known, or even completely unknown episodes: the military criminal trials of the Allied Courts and Italian Military Tribunals.
The exhibition is organized by the Defense General Staff and the Military General Prosecutor's Office at the Military Court of Appeals, under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic.
With the support of the Monza City and the collaboration of the Consortium Villa Reale and Monza Park' .
