Concorso Pozzoli e OltreilPozzoli
The 31st International “Ettore Pozzoli” Piano Competition and associated events.
This competition is organised by the local council of Seregno in collaboration with the Milan Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” and “Casa Ricordi”. A showcase for musical talent for 60 years: Maurizio Pollini won the first prize in 1959. In September Seregno will become an international stage and welcome:
- China, represented by Dan Zhao Yi, the President of the jury of the 31st competition
- Japan, with the work entitled MU 116 by Azuma Kengiro in The great masters of sculpture of Brera
- Russia, the country with most winners of the Competition (after Italy)
- Switzerland, sponsor of the “Ettore Pozzoli” Competition in the “Young Inclusion” European project.
The competition will be streamed live all over the world.
The “Pozzoli” prize winner will then go on a ten-concert tour to Grosseto, Lecco, Seregno, Como, Milano, Sacile, Rome, Budapest, Moscow and China.
From 13 September to 1 October there will be a variety of different events all linked to the person of Ettore Pozzoli.
