Convivio a Palazzo 2025 As per tradition, the end-of-summer appointment with "Convivio a Palazzo," the Renaissance Festival that will take place on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Palazzo Secco-Pastore in San Martino Gusnago, returns to Ceresara (Mantua), where the"Compagnia delle Torri" Association will reenact the historic banquet held in the palace in 1491 between the master of the house-nobleman Francesco Secco d'Aragona, Francesco II Gonzaga-Marquis of Mantua and Ercole I d'Este, Duke of Ferrara.On the evenings of Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7, the "Inns" will be open to the public in the splendid setting of the wide open spaces of the Palace Court - with free admission and free parking - where it will be possible to dine in a particularly evocative setting and enjoy various moments of 39;entertainment with artists, musicians, armigers, knights and flag-wavers, which will be followed by a concluding Grand Show with a historical theme.Simultaneously, on the two evenings in the frescoed Gallery of the Palace, the Grand Renaissance Banquet will be held (reservations required Tel. 03761586199 - http://www.compagniadelletorri.it) where guests will be immersed in the typical atmosphere of the Convivals of the time, with dishes that are the result of a long and careful study, elaborated starting from the ingredients that - as it is documented - were used in the Banquet of 1491, but presented in a modern and palatable key.
