Wonderland Festival

Wonderland is a festival of theater, dance, music and meetings born in 2012 in Brescia and that in the2025 edition will also reach the Franciacorta area. The events are under the banner of multidisciplinary and translocal as an opportunity to explore the new languages of contemporary and to get to know the excellence of the Italian and international scene.

Wonderland is dedicated to the promotion of contemporary theater in its most open and research-based expressions: immersive performances, itinerant routes, workshops, meetings with content creators and special programs to ensure inclusion for all citizenship.

The audience is at the center of the project as an active and creative protagonist in the construction of meanings. In just a few days, the festival involves more than 5,000 people through immersive performances, site-specific works, itinerant routes, workshops with artists/performers and meetings with content creators. The proposals are multiple and heterogeneous and designed to broaden access to culture.

Wonderland Festival has a national and international dimension with roots inextricably embedded in the territory of Brescia. It promotes and enhances local creativity (link to page) and works in synergy with high schools, universities and academia, museums, cinemas and companies.

In 2025 Wonderland Festival expands its reach with Wonderland Pop, a widespread program involving not only the city of Brescia but also the towns of Franciacorta: Cellatica, Cologne, Erbusco, Gussago, Ome, Palazzolo sull'Oglio and Rodengo Saiano.
