Mountain Festival

From Sunday, August 8, through Saturday, August 15, the Mountain Festival returns to Campo dei Fiori in Varese.

The event, organized and managed by the Varese Alpine Group, aims to raise funds for charitable initiatives.

There are many events on the schedule, and the food stand, located in the square in front of the Grand Hotel Campo dei Fiori, will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Highlights include tours of the Marelli Cave, the FAI photography exhibition dedicated to the Grand Hotel, hikes organized by CAI Varese, concerts, literary aperitifs, tours of the Sanctuary’s Crypt, and much more.

The event will culminate on August 15 with the traditional Holy Mass at the Altar of the Three Crosses, celebrated in memory of all the Fallen Without a Cross—a symbolic moment that embodies the values of remembrance, friendship, and service that have always distinguished the Alpini.
