Longobard Autumn

Autumn is one of the ideal seasons to enjoy the flavors of the territory. In order to enhance the many food and wine opportunities that can be seized at this time of year, in this spirit Colli dei Longobardi Strada del Vino e dei Sapori, in collaboration with the municipalities of the territory to which it belongs, organizes the initiative called "Autunno Longobardo".

It is a festival of thirty-six appointments in which take part Local Administrations, Associations, Wine Producers, engaged in different proposals, which become opportunities to discover evocative landscapes through a journey in taste, culture, environment...

The appointments want to pay homage to wine, culture, social, the territory that the Longobard Hills road represents and of course, its flavors.

We hope many people during the event will want to (re)discover a part of the province that is a short distance from Brescia and that within it has a world to tell, not only about wine. The discovery and tasting of local wine production, although central to wine tourism, is no longer the only reason why an area is worth discovering. The combination of history, art, cuisine and wine is increasingly desired. This is the goal of an event, which has now become an annual event. An extraordinary showcase of a territory that wishes to continue to promote: from the excellence it knows how to express to the "know-how" of wine businesses, from agricultural producers to catering to hospitality to culture. Only in this way will we be able to sustain our socio-economic fabric and stimulate conscious tourism!
