Following the trend of romantic Medievalism of the late nineteenth century, Villago proposes an evening dedicated to Dante and the culture of his time at Villa Sormani in Missaglia.
Visitors will be involved in an emotional journey that will allow them to immerse themselves in Dante’s Inferno. In the fourteenth-century chapel of the villa the first song will be proclaimed.
We will continue in the liberty rooms, where the guests will be accompanied by the laments of the sloths and by the suggestions of the third song.
We will then reach the music room, where, in the shadows, illuminated only by the purple light of a candle, we will witness the declamation of the song itself.
Subsequently, through the grand staircase, we will reach the great hall of weapons and, among the waving flags, swords and halberds, the fifth song will be recited that tells the sublime and desperate love of Paolo and Francesca.

At the end of the show, in the park of the villa will be served sweets typical of the medieval tradition: spicy pastries, sweet wine flavored with cinnamon and a special crunchy, in memory of the ancient “nape”.
It will thus be possible to relive a nineteenth-century evening, surrounded by romantic culture, always in search of the suggestions of a distant and fascinating past.
