  5. Palazzo Te
    This gorgeous palace created by Giulio Romano dates back to the 16th century and was believed to be the hideaway for the tormented love between Duke Federico II Gonzaga and Isabella Boschetti. Today it houses a museum with art exhibitions being held on a regular basis.
     
  6. Certosa di Pavia
     Monks and priests have paid tribute to this unique monastery since the 15th century. A marvelous example of religious architecture, with its exuberant cloisters, is definitely on top of the list while passing by the streets of Pavia.  
     
  7. Royal Villa of Monza and gardens
     When in Monza, stop for a second and take a look at this majestic palace: a pompous villa, which has been recently renovated and has been brought back to its original splendor. Take a tour inside the villa and experience the luxurious lifestyle of those times.

    Known locally as the "Pearl of Lario", Bellaggio is a charming town situated on Lake Como. A romantic place, one of Italy's finest, that can truly be considered as a natural piece of art.
     
  10. Borromeo Fortress in Angera
    The Borromeo Fortress in Angera is the symbol of the town of Angera that stands on top of a rocky hill. Today houses the Doll Museum. The first of its kind in Italy and founded in 1988, over the years the collection has been enriched with sections devoted to children's toys and clothing.
