In Caspoggio there are several picnic areas that can easily be reached by anyone:  Oasis of serenity: along the Percorso vita (the trail linking Lanzada to Caspoggio), close to the Madonna di Lourdes.  Motta: this picnic area is close to a natural pond. It has a fountain and gives the chance to have a barbecue.  Sant'Antonio: close to the small church, can also be reached by taking the chairlift Astù: here you'll find several picnic areas that can be reach by following the Cavallera path, or by taking then chairlift and then following the last section of the trail. Sentiero di metà Custera: depart from the center of Caspoggio or from Santa Elisabetta, follow the Sentiero di Metà Custera and you'll find a picnic area provided with wooden benches overlooking the town.  Alpe Prabello: a well known hiking and biking destination - Alpe Prabello is a natural paradise, a wonderful spot where you can enjoy a picnic in the mountains

Lake Varese lies at the foot of Mount Campo dei Fiori and is bordered by the city of Varese and another eight towns in the province.Schiranna is one of Varese’s most popular lakeside destinations with visitors as it also offers the Zanzi Park and a great cycling route. The park is one of the city’s many leafy, green areas with picnic tables and other facilities to ensure a fun day out.
