One of the most beautiful subalpine lakes, it exudes a subtle almost mysterious charm and boasts a long history as a popular tourist destination. The delightful hills overlooking the lake offer superb views of the surrounding countryside, while the lakeside towns and villages are perfect for a relaxing holiday.
