From Montichiari to Canneto sull'Oglio

This stage takes place along the Chiese river as well.You can take a 10 km detour from Montichiari to Calvisano, another town equipped with a railroad that connects to Brescia.

The main route continues among cultivated fields and farmhouses. Have a break at Asola and take the opportunity of admiring its cathedral.
The Chiese river leads to the Oglio and the town of Canneto sull'Oglio. You can use the railway and continue your journey. If you want to kwwp pedaling, take the Oglio river's bike lane to go east and reach the Po river, or head west to go to Crema or Lake Iseo.
